The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks

An out of this world and captivating experience. Lightrooms new exhibition The Moonwalker is one not to be missed.

For anyone with a passion for space exploration, it is everything you could hope for. However, I truly believe it’s something to be experienced by all.

Tom Hanks guides you through a journey showing you each Apollo expedition from Neil Armstrongs first steps on the moon, to Gene Cernan’s last words during the Apollo 17 mission, as well as an insight into the Artemis programme. But it also feels like a journey for the senses.

Accompanied with music conducted by Anne Nikitin and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, it will teach you things not just about the Apollo missions, but also about us as humans and how far our curiosity and determination will take us.

Quick tip: If you’d like a seat, get there earlier than later. However, if you’re happy to sit on the floor against the edge, there will be plenty of room.
