Day 33

I want to know I did it because I wanted to live, not because I thought I was going to die.

I have seen so many times where people have gone off and done things because they are terminally ill, or where they become ill and when they recover decide to go and do certain things because they are faced directly with the hard truth that it can happen at any point.

But why do we wait?

Why do we wait for something so catastrophic?

Why don’t we just start living when we know we’re alive? To take the opportunity to do it now so we can look back in 10 years with a smile on our face.

Why do we wait until death looks us in the face and the memories are tainted with negative connotations.
