Day 65

Today taught me everything about how important being in the right environment was.

I’ve always struggled being social or being in social situations. Yet today, I was so relaxed and I wasn’t desperate to leave because I’d hit my limit.

As I walked around the RHS Wisley Garden, I felt like I had found a place where I belong.

Everyone was there for the same reason. People smiled at each other. People interacted with each other in a positive way. It was really refreshing.

I left feeling tired yet energised, smiling from ear to ear. Enthused that there were that many people that were just as interested in nature as me. I think social media can sometimes make you lose the understanding of how much a number is.

To actually see thousands of people all in the same place for the same reason is comforting.
