After finding my connection with nature again as an adult, it is becoming more and more engrained in my every day life. Running takes place on the trails, food is being grown at home and I live within the seasons; internally and externally. But I’m still learning and it feels like I’m only just getting started.

Let me introduce myself
Hi, I’m Roisin and up until the summer of 2024 some would say I had it all. The well paid job, disposable income, 2 bed house with an Audi on the drive, and an 11 year relationship that to most would have been goals. But I wasn’t happy. Something was telling me there was more to life than trying to tick boxes that society deemed as being successful.
So I gave it all up in search of something more.
As a child, I was always drawn to nature. My hands were constantly dirty, my feet were battered from always being barefoot, and I felt completely at home under the canopy of the trees in the nearby common.
But somewhere along the way, that connection was lost and it wasn’t until my mid twenties when something started to shift. Reconnecting back to nature has been a really important part of my journey.
I’ve been learning to grow my own food, choosing the trails for my runs, and finding my own inner seasons. Most importantly, I’ve been learning from the land and realising that nature is our greatest teacher if only we are to listen.
